Questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
It is a picture of your signature on the page, like signing a printout and scanning it. Many everyday documents accept that. A certificate-based digital signature (for example with a DSC or Aadhaar eSign) proves who signed and that nothing changed afterwards; this tool does not create one. If a document must be digitally signed, use a certificate-based service.
Can I use a photo of my signature?
Yes. Choose Upload and pick a JPG or PNG. Sign on plain white paper and take the photo in good light; the white paper is made transparent so only the ink shows.
Can I sign every page, or add my initials?
Yes. Place your signature once, then choose "All pages" or type the pages you want. Make a second signature for your initials and place it the same way.
Is my signature saved?
No. It is kept in this tab only, so you can sign several files, and it is gone when you close or reload the tab.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Enter the file's password when asked; it is used on this device only. The new file is not password-protected.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does the work on this device, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Nothing is sent to a server.
