Questions
What is PDF metadata?
Details stored inside the file: the title, the author's name, the apps that made it, and when it was created and last changed. Many apps show them, and anyone you send the file to can read them.
What does "Remove all" clear?
The title, author, subject and keywords, the names of the apps that made the file, the creation and change dates, and the XMP metadata of the document, its pages and its images.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Enter the file's password when asked; it is used on this device only. The new file is not password-protected.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does the work on this device, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Nothing is sent to a server.
